Museums & Gardens in Sandwich will have you soaring down
ziplines, navigating courses and climbing bridges throughout

give you an all-new perspective of the Cape’s scenic beauty.
For mini-adventurers, the two-acre Hidden Hollow on Heritage
Museums’ grounds features log balance beams, stepping
stumps, a giant treehouse and interactive outdoor exhibits
to explore. Thrill-seeking families will also love the bumper
boats, batting cages, zip lines and rock walls at Grand Slam
Entertainment in Harwich, a sure昀椀re way to get the wiggles
out.
One of the best ways to explore Cape Cod is on two wheels,
and the region offers 110 miles of scenic paved bike trails for

mile trail from Yarmouth to Well昀氀eet that winds by lighthouses,
salt marshes, cranberry bogs and sandy beaches. The Cape is
also home to miles of unpaved mountain biking trails, including
the West Barnstable Conservation Area, which makes up for
its lack of altitude with beautiful forested scenery. At Sandy
Neck Beach in Barnstable, try fat tire biking right on the sand,
permitted at marked areas on the beach and along the Marsh
and Horse Trails.
One don’t-miss destination for adventurers is the Cape Cod
National Seashore, 40 miles of protected coastline where
visitors can swim, paddle, walk, birdwatch, bike and even
take a ranger program. Hikers will love to explore the Cape’s
diverse landscapes and change in seasons along the National
Seashore’s Fort Hill and Atlantic White Cedar Swamp trails.
