SANDWICH
Glass Studio on Cape Cod
Step inside Michael Magyar’s Sandwich studio on Route 6A and
you can see 昀椀rsthand a master glassblower at work. Magyar has
cemented his status as a glassblower in a town that has a long,
proud history in glassmaking, and which was once home to the
largest glass manufacturer in the world. In his studio, which is
celebrating its 32nd year, you’ll 昀椀nd a variety of home décor, from
candlesticks, plates and bowls to glasses and vases. Its ocean balls,
with beach sand and an assortment of seashells inside, are inspired
by the seashore.

the sisters have been honing their skills, and this

ceramic 昀椀sh, they also make seashells, lobster,
